Question:
Does such a thing exist? Or at least a portable with a wake-up function?
Having been spoilt by R6, R7 and Five Live on my Evoke-1 I'd like one that wakes me in the morning.....anyone know of such a thing?

The forthcoming DAB radios from Roberts (http://www.radio-now.co.uk/news166.htm) like the Gemini 1 have alarm clock function and I think you can set it to wake up to radio.
Gemini 1, some cool functions:
Includes a 'Rewind button' which allows user to rewind the audio of the station being listened to. This effectively "turns back time" allowing the user to hear audio that was broadcast a few seconds or minutes earlier.
Record button allows the user to record a program for later playback. There are two storage mediums available to the user. These are either the internal volatile memory or a separately purchased SD card
Expected price is about 200 quid.
