Question:
What is the best and cheapest way to make a Toshiba SD120E Multiregional?
Richer Sounds have said they don't do it themselves, they send it to another company. They have quoted £60!
Without wanting to sound flippant, sell the player and buy a new one, multi-region from the factory. You can get a budget multi-region player for < £60 (if you didn't know), and if you want to go for a 'brand', you can get a Tosh or similar for a ton.

That's exactly what I was thinking!
I just wanted to know if it can be done at a reasonable price. If not, then I guess it would be better to get a new one.
I bought one from savastore for 45 squid and its ten times better than the sony one i paid 300 notes for 18 months ago and is now gathering dust in the bedroom!!

Does that mean that all I've got to do is pop a disc into the tray and it'll work?
Will I have to select a region each time I play a disc or will it all be automatic?
Just to add, if you didn't know already, Safeway are now stocking a M/R dvd player with Progressive Scan for £49.99 (see the Bargain forum).
Fancy having 2 players? :D
