First Post! - Speaker Stands
Question:

Four needed - two nice to look at and two to hide behind the sofa and poke out the top!
Only for small surround sound speakers (10 cm x 10 cm x 12cm).
Other than ebay - does anyone know of a nice (ahem and cheap) place to look?.
Thanks
Phill

I got These (http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/productdetailsnew.asp?modelcode=ALP-RS10S) just over a year ago from EmpireDirect
Work a treat and look good with speaker wire hidden within pole.

Update....I ended up buying the £39 :nono: AVF ones from Argos as I wanted them that day!!
They are OK - but due to a combination of poor speaker design (for using on a stand - Sharp HT-CN300H(s)) and poor bracket design I am not happy with how sturdy it all is. Also - the nuts/screws included with the AVF stands were just totally wrong!.
Ahh - what a waste of a post - just realised this isn't interesting to anyone else - still posting it though :gag:

Am I allowed to put the price up on here or do I need to email you in private?
If it's got to be done in private email me at neilbottomley@hotmail.com and i'll send the details and what i'm after. ;)
I still have all the original packaging and they're in excellent nick etc.
Sorry to be cloak and dagger about this but I don't want to get into bother.:(

Just stick a price on them gissing can only say no.

Ok, I'll take £25 + shipping costs for them.
The stands weigh approx 11kg and will come in their original box and packaging etc.
The shipping option you want to take is up to you as this will effect the total price. Might be an idea to check out the Royal Mail website to see what various delivery options cost.
the speakers are in mint condition and are no longer needed due to a new pair of floor standers.
Whadda ya think? :)

Where abouts in Yorkshire are you?

Sunny Barnsley, not too far away from you RPG.
You interested?
Will have to give Gissing first dibs but if he doesn't show soon they're all yours mate. ;)

Take 'em back mate! I once took back a three year old broken hoover with no box or receipt and they didn't even want to know the reason! (It was the work's hoover and my boss told me to have a go at it, didn't think it would work so I humoured him but it did!) Seriously, take them back as it's so easy with Argos and no point being unhappy every time you look at them!
