Question:
Using TDK Ram to date but at £2.99 the mirror 4.7GB are almost disposable pricing.
Anyone using them??
I've tried them, but found both my E50 and PC DVD-RAM drive occassionally would refuse to see the disk without reinserting.

Thanks Mike, think I'll stick to TDK.
Have you used the Maxell ones at all?
I bought five of these and I've used three of them with no problems. I've formatted all 5, again with no probs. At this price they've got to be worth you buying a few to try them. If they don't work you should get a refund.

Only got my dmr e50 2 days ago but the 3 discs I've used have been fine. Ordered 6 more today.

Yes.
I'm more than happy with the Maxells, I use them mainly for archiving data rather than video, not because I have problems with using them in the E50, but mainly because I can identify which is video and which is data easier.
I have 3 PC DVD-RAM drives and all have had minor problems recognising the disks (in addition to the E50) and I have 10 mirror disks, each have exhibited the symptoms of failing to be recognised first time at some time or other. I now use them only for data that I wouldn't lose any sleep over.
I also prefer cartridges because they're far less likely to get finger prints or damaged.
