Question:
Hello all,
I've picked up some adaptors from maplin to take two phono connections and turn them into a headphone socket. This enables me to connect the Xbox/PS2 etc into a set of headphones, which is handy to keep the noise down when t'missus is asleep.
Only problem is, the volume level on certain things is pretty low.
Does anyone know if maplin or someone similar sells a headphone amplifier, so that I can connect it between the xbox and headphones and boost the volume? I found this on maplin's site, but it's more of a kit than a boxed solution.
Thanks to anyone that can provide any info.
You can get one from Maplin, cpc or other places like that. Not sure what the cheap ones are like - I bought a QED one from a hi-fi shop years ago and it was about £70 - you can get cheap ones for about £20 now.
