Oh ok then:(
Enough of that boys.
I bought the Goodman initially but took it back - it kept dropping into standby and the guide wasn't populating.
Not a great box IMO.
Are you sure didn't just buy a duff box?
I thought you said you swapped it 'cos of the much cheapness form Argis/Curry's/wherever?
I think I'll plump for the Thompson at J Lewis using the £15 over £30 voucher.
EDIT: of course this would be a fine plan if they stocked it:(

I got the thomson box and while the picture is very good, the delay between pressing a button on the remote and the box responding is very bad.
It makes text services difficult to use as you can't tell if the button press has been received, and the new darts game is useless.

Hmm, might have to be the Netgem then!

Hmmm - maybe there is something wrong with mine. It definately takes abouts 1-2 seconds from pressing a button for the box to respond. This is most evident when using text services.
Just to confirm, this is the DTT1000 which I got from Argos? Anyone else got one and can comment on the reaction to the remote?
Thanks
I have the same model from Argos and it's quick to respond from the remote.......

I have two thompsons...
Have had a few problems with the Thompson when downloading new software and when trying to load new channels.
In fact the software Download froze and I ended up with a dead box. Exchanged at Comet no problem.
Both boxes no longer allow addition of new channels, so I now have to reload all channels each time.
But othet than these issues, have been v.pleased with them.
It says I've got software version 2.1 which I think is the latest version. Still very slow at responding.
Think I might try and get it swapped.
