Question:
does anyone own a toshiba 50wh18 rptv?
wanna ask em a few questions about calabration and settings
I've got a 42WH18B. Look here: http://www.bus.ucf.edu/cwhite/theater/ToshibaTips.htm
The only thing I've done from here (and I don't recommend you do any of it - there, legal absolution complete :) is step 4a from 'Convergence and geometry adjustment tips' (http://www.bus.ucf.edu/cwhite/theater/ConvergenceGeometry.htm) then all of 'Convergence instructions' (http://www.bus.ucf.edu/cwhite/theater/Convergence.htm).
I intend to line the interior to reduce reflections at some point, but the flat screen is bowed, so I need to get that fixed before I completely void the warranty.
As a note - the picture now looks quite divergent until it's warmed up, but the it looks sharper than I ever managed 'out of the box'.
