Question:
Guys im starting to get a few probs with my tosh sd210 dvd player, whilst playing svcds or vcds it seem to start splutttering toward the end of the disc, 10 mins left and the pic goes blocky, sound funny etc, i can stop the player and restart and ffwd to the end and its not as bad but still quite bad? is this a worn laser, dont think its my writer it could not be burning the discs right??

It could be due to the type of CDR media being used, some DVD players can get fussy over this...
I have been using the same media for over a year now, without probs, maybe the last batch i had was a bit iffy, could try some other discs suppose
Or maybe the video wasn't encoded properly...
DVD lasers I think :confused: generally have 15000 hours worth of life...
No i have seen with a few films now,bit annoying, oh well i need a new player anyway.
