Question:
Does anyone know whether the region 2 only version of the Acoustic Solutions DVD321 from Richer Sounds is hackable, (ie does the 321 hack work on the player they sell as R2,), or do you have to get the multi-region version for the hack to work.
I'm thinking of getting one of these as a second player, (partly for the macrovision hack!), but don't want to spend the extra tenner for multi-region if I can get the R2 and hack it myself!
PS. Is this player any good in the first place? If not, what about the 421?

Its pot luck as some are hackable and some are not. I think some have a different rom than others which applies to the 421 aswel.
They are bothe identical but the 321 hasn't a front display.
I would get one and apply the hack, if it works great, if it doesn't take it back and get the region free one, either way you don't loose.
