Question:
Got a Philips 32PW5407 - about a year old....not sure if it's under or over.....probably under, need to hunt to receipt.
When I try to turn it on, it clicks, as normal, then the picture tries to come up and after a second, maybe two, it cuts out. Then after a second, it turns on, and immediately cuts out again. No matter what I do.
Any ideas?
Edit - just got the receipt.... it's two weeks within the warranty! Guess who's on the phone tomorrow? ;)

I didn't have this issue, but I did have an exceedingly close shave re warranties with a philips set. The receipt of my Unbeatable order showed the date as being a year and 4 days prior to the set breaking. It was only when I ran through my mail archive to find an address for customer service that I found a 'sent item' asking when the set would arrive and a reply saying it had been delayed by a week.
Fortunately, Unbeatable considered the warranty to be valid from the 'goods received' date, so they came to fix it for me :)
I guess the real question is 'why can't philips make a set that works!?!'
