Question:
I've got a broken Sony 715 Multiregion DVD player (the drive is knackered, but fully working(!) everywhere else) and was wondering if anyone wanted it for spares/repairs.
Once the player knows a disc is in it plays, it's just getting the drive to realise there's a disc in it that's the problem.
It's got the remote control with it too and the multiregion was done by upgrade heaven.
I'm not charging as I've moved onwards and upwards to a different player.
How much for UK postage?
I'll try and find out asap, it'll probably cost a bit though.
So it's worth remembering that it is broken and is better for spares. I don't know if the drive can be repaired or not.
Thanks for that. Just thinking of me brother-in-law, who's setting up down in Bath on a tight budget. I'll get him to ask local dealers what likely repair costs will be or if it's just worth getting a budget player.
Thanks again.
TBH It'll probably be cheaper to buy a budget than repair a Sony I would've thought.
Thanks for your honesty & advice -cheers!
