Question:
I've just bought one of these and at the moment the digibox is connected to C and the DVD player to B and when we get another scart cable, the vcr will be connected to A.
Now for the questions...
-What do the two sets of phono sockets do?
-the B-A and C-A record function: how's that work then? surely the lead from A would need to go to the scart input of the vcr rather than come from the output socket?

If you cjeck your VCR manual you'll probably find that one of the AV sockets does in and out whilst the other only does input. It's like that on my JVC anyway.

But surely that means the the splitter can only have two thing into it - 2 slots for VCR and one other... I'm not planning on ever doing this, cos most digi boxes have a vcr scart out put and dvds have macrovision. Just thought it was a bit odd.
The two sets of phono sockets are outputs. I use one of them to plug into my Hi-Fi Units' Line In, as there is only one input, and that way I dont have to choose between my TV sets phono outs, VCRs phono outs, or DVD Players phono outs. I guess they are included if you want to plug into another TV set or for monitoring purposes too.
