Question:
First post for me here. I have a JVC player which originally came with a seperate sub unit which the additional 5 speakers plugged in to. Due to a particularly good party the sub was rendered unusable (read smashed). After much consultation on the phone with JVC's very varied customer service, I have been told that the sub is both irreparable and uneconomical to replace.
I then had a £600 Dvd with no sound. I eventually got a friend to create a cable which I can plug into my amp. The cable has 6 phono sockets one for each of the channels.
My question is how can I get the leads to connect into a multi channel amplifier. I guess that the 6 channels have to be split between 2 phonos but I am not sure. Please help me get back surround sound and redeem myself.

Bumping again because I really miss surround sound
