Question:
Are there different types of these used on various home cinema etc equipment?
For example, my Panasonic video requires the remote to be directly facing the reciever or else nothing happens, whereas some other equipment's remotes can be facing to completely opposite direction and still work 100%.
Not sure, but the remote itself might make a difference as well. The pronto works in directions that the original remote doesn't.
