I've been looking at these in Asda to relace the ageing 14" telly in my room. For the price (~£150) they look ok, but I want a little more info.
I've searched for reviews, to no avail. I want to know what formats the player can handle (VCD? SVCD? MP3? DVDR/W?) if any, and how good the unit is overall (in terms of a unit to watch TV on a lot, and watch the occasional DVD on, in the bedroom, i.e. it doesn't have to be a cinematic experience, if you get what I mean ;) ).
I've already found a region free hack for the player, so that's one of the questions answered.

i have some vouchers for argos, you can have £150 worth for £140, saving you £10. They have the same one in Argos.:)
