Best place to buy DVD-R & DVD-RAM
Question:

I have a Panasonic E50 (well will have tomorrow when it's delivered), and was wondering what brands of DVD-R work with it?
Also anyone know the best place to buy DVD-R & DVD-RAM from? By best I mean cheap!
I know you can get them cheaper the more you buy, but I only need 15 DVD-R's and 3 or 4 DVD-RAM for now.

Answers:

SVP (www.blankdiscshop.co.uk) are pretty cheap - you can get 25 DVD-Rs from them for about £25, and their Mirror 4.7g non-caddied DVD-RAM discs (no idea of the quality) are £3 a pop. Postage is £4.
Since I got my E50 on Friday I've used a couple of the Verbatims from SVP, but mainly I've been using the Nan-ya discs that they sell and I've had no problems with them so far, although I haven't sat down and watched the discs I've recorded all the way through, I've just watched sections.

Answers:

http://www.cd-rmedia.co.uk cheapest for cartridge dvd-rams, especially as postage is £2 for small quantities (5 or fewer I think). This is the supplier I've used most.
http://www.dvd-and-media.com/dvd-ram-media.htm have a slightly larger range and might work out cheaper on larger quantities.
I personally use TDK 9.4GB disks in my E50 and Maxell 4.7GB for data (no particular reason, but it's easier to make work pay for the disks when you get 10 for £60 rather than 5).
The disks without caddies work fine, except occasionally need to be reinserted to get recognised on the PC drive.
