Compact Flash on an HS2??
Question:

I've just ordered one of the panny HS2s and I have a question regarding the PCMCIA slot: Can I view photos, taken on my Digital camera, using the CF card in a CF to PCMCIA converter that I have?
Has anyone done this? Also, can I view pictures (JPGs) cut onto a CD in this drive?
Thanks
Dave

Yep
I`ve used my Compact Flash on my HS2, It has some good features on the HDD for storing the JPG images.
I haven`t tried reading a disc with JPG`s though.

Thanks Carl, it's just arrived (very good service I must say!) so I'll try it myself. Good to hear about the CF tho!

DaveJP where did you get it from. You really are going to love it. It is SOOO useful. For example its letting me dump my West Wing Series 3 to RAM while I catch up with S2 and therefore not clogging up my Sky+ drive.
Even the menus on self done DVD's are nice!
