Question:
for the past couple of weeks my Toshiba has been going wonky.
green coil type lines appear on the screen and then the screen goes from the slightest tint of green to basically covering the whole screen.
Also the green starts to go hay wire i.e you know those radio tuners you get with the line and when you tune it the green line starts moving in up and down, well thats what happens with my TV except the whole screen is covered by those green thick lines and then you hear an explosion from it and the thing cuts off. it also goes purple as well.
does it need a part replaced or is it on its last legs, i really hope its beyond repair because I still have a warranty with the company I bought it from and they usually give you vouchers for a new TV instead of reparing it if its not worth repairing. Is it best to contact the company i bought it from.
i hope my descriptions of the problems have made sense.

Mine did this as well....Only it was Red for me rather than Green.
Having already shelled out to have the TV fixed for a sound issue 2 months previous I just got mad and went out and bought a new TV...
Gave the old Toshiba away for £10 to a mate.....never did hear what the problem was in the end...
Let me know if you get it fixed...
