Question:
I am looking for a LCD TV for the bedroom, any recommendations??
There's no such thing when it comes to LCD TV and value for money, man. Really there ain't.
What's your budget? The Panny 15 "-er is the best by miles, but then it's about a grand.
try the lg 15" at (Qed), its been reduced to £369 i think.

The LG 15 inch can be got from House of Fraser for GBP350 (at least it was a week or so ago).
For a widescreen option, I've seen some complimentary comments on a 17 inch Grundig that is on sale at Dixons etc for GBP700 (I think).
Do you have anything else to add to your request - eg size, widescreen or not?
all I want is a tv for the bedroom, will have a dvd player connected and a standard ariel. The QED one looks good, but maybe 15" will be too small....
i don't have a budget really coz i wasn't sure how much they were etc.
Maybe LCDs aren't the cost-effective way to go. Maybe re-arranging the bedroom, getting a proper tv stand etc and a decent "normal" tv would be the best way.
I'd go for rearranging the room if you can and get a nice 28 inch flatscreen crt for about the same money as a "cheap" 15 inch lcd.
Aie, despite people saying stuff like "I only need something small for the bedroom", they don't really take into account the needs of their bird.
Am also looking for a LCD tv for the bedroom that can double up as a flatscreen for the PC.
The LG fits the bill, there are two models out there, the newer one RZ15LA31 and the ......30 model ( which got slated in reviews ).
Actually just got back from Currys and Comet where the 31 was on sale for £399. Have to admit that the screen and the features are quite impressive for the money. It was nect to a 15" goodmans LCD tv which was £450, and the LG was way better in every way. The goodmans one was very blurry and grainy, very poor. However, the Grundig 17" W/S one had a beautiful picture, very clear, nice colour...it was £700, but put the 22" Panny one next to it to shame ( £1500 i think ).
I believe it's a price drop across the board by LG as they have launched a new model ( approx £700 ). The new one's got a brushed aluminium bezel around it and funny looking speaker bit, but looking on the LG site, the specs are identical to the RZ15LA31. Also I think in the bargain forum, you can get it for £339 + p&p somewhere. Let me know how u get on, as I'm checking it out at the moment, and my credit card hand is twitching:)

I've just got the RZ15LA31 as a wedding pressie at the weekend. As a tv for the bedroom it's good. Picture is very sharp and the nicam stereo sounds great. I've just connected it to my pc while reading this forum and i'm well impressed. I'm surprised at the screen size, I have a 17inch crt monitor and the viewable size seems no larger than this lcd.
Obviously it's too small for the main room, but as a small set for the bedroom or kitchen, or even as a pc monitor I'd recommend it.
I haven't seen any others though, so I can't compare.
