Coaxial / Optical outputs
Question:

I need a new DVD player and am quite tempted by the multi-regional Pioneers DV454 and DV350 as mentioned in this stupidly long thread here .
AFAIK only difference is that the DV454 has optical and coaxial outputs whereas the 350 only has coaxial. Is optical any better as i will connect it up to my home cinema system, and already have my PS2 connected up through the optical input and would prefer not to change it.
Thanks

Answers:

No, it's not better. If your optical socket is being used, then use a coaxial lead for your DVD player, You won't notice any difference.
