Question:
Help, my JVC Flat 32inch widescreens gone terribly wrong. There is a green tinge affecting the colours on the boarders and expecially in the corners. Is there anything a tv man can do or should I concede that the tv/tube is broken and start saving for another.
Not sure what caused it. Its either my gamecube which I have had for about a week or it could even be my mum who gave the screen a wipe down with a cloth literally just before we noticed the fault. Thanks for all you help.
Might be a purity problem. Try moving anything that generates a magnetic field away from your set. Then turn the set off (properly off, not standby) and leave it off for a bit. Then turn it on again and it will degauss automatically, hopefully ridding you of the Hulk effect.
As the Squirrel says, it's probably caused by a magnetic field. You haven't placed any speakers nearby have you?
thanks alot guys. unplugged it overnight which seemed to have done the trick. Saved me a few quid getting the repair man out. Still don't really know what caused it but its ok so i am well happy.
Closing seeing as now resolved and not a problem :)
