Can't Remove Extra Information

Question:

I have tried three different copies of "My Fat Greek Wedding" and can't remove the Greek Lesson from the screen thoughout. It offers information on how to make Moussaka and how cold Chicago gets in the winter and obliterates half the screen at the same time. Changing options on the "extras" menu makes no difference. I have a Logix 3000. Should I just buy someting more expensive?
