Question:
What is the best way to check if a DVD is an original and NOT a copy?:(
Region coding is a good place to start..
dodgy print, all code, oriental subtitles... DTS label even when its mono
Logos are a good way.........
the Columbia tristar logo for r2 dvds and r3 dvds is slightly difrrent
SO a Columbia picture logo on a dvd thats meant to be from r2 land is a buit dodgy (they have the columbia tristar picture)
Plus my dad bought a ntsc dvd with a bbfc logo the other day :suspect:
Basically got a region 1 DVD, but the cover doesnt look great(might be me being funny) but its got curved edges on the corners of the front cover and the inside booklet is just a sheet.
Not a dvd expert so not good at spotting the things im suppose to check for!
:(

Sounds ok to me.. loads of DVDs have no insert whatsoever, let alone a 'booklet'.. :|
What movie is it?
what film is it ?
try looking for it on websites on the net that have enlarged picture (amazon.com ??) you might notice a diffrence .........
Also what does the disc look like ??
Do you have a dvd-rom on you're pc ??
How big is the dvd ?? How many gigs :)

:( Some R1 realeased have curved edges on their front covers. Quite a few of my R1 Buena Vista titles have curved edges (Mission to Mars, O Brother Where Art Thou, Fist of Legend, Deuce Bigalow)
