Question:
Am thinking of buying a 24" widescreen tv ,as a second set in the dinning room (for the girlfriend to watch while cooking)
Have briefly looked at a Sony KV24 LS35.
Does anyone have any experience of this or other models to go for?
Price not important.
Will be hooked up to a Nokia Freeview Digi Box.
cheers

I actually am thinking of selling my Sony Widescreen 24" TV.
Bought in 1998 I think it was about £400 at the time... , not sure what the going rate is for a TV this age.
It plays NTSC has 1 SCART and has run without a single problem since 1998.
Cheers but will be buying from new.
Thanks anyway.
Can I bagsy 1st refusal on this TV captain, if you decide to sell it?
Yeah, sure, but me selling it has the clause that I have to find one (buy one) to replace it..., I'll let you know.
Out of interest what sort of figure would you expect to pay?
Given I sold a 28" Sony W/S in late 2000 for £200 that cost £1000 in 1996, I'd probably consider £75-£80 a fair amount for your 24" W/S given the age (and someone I work with paid only £50 for a 2 year old 4:3 tube Panasonic last weekend).
I was thinking along the same lines as Cervaro, in terms of the amount £75-80 as it is a five year old TV.
I'm definitely interested as I've been looking for a bedroom TV for some time now. I've got a few questions which I would be grateful if you could answer:
1.What are the measurements of the TV?
2.Does it have a stand?
3.Do you have any photos of it, that you could email me?
My old man's got the current Panasonic 24". Its NICAM with 2 scarts (1 RGB I think). Not flatscreen but significantly cheaper than the Sony. He's very happy with it.
Well as I said above, me selling the Sony does depend on me getting a new Telly to replace it.
I have been looking at the Toshiba Picture Frame TVs for some time and would love to buy one, but as I only have about 1K saved, it may be a while before I look to get one. :(
But in answer to your question, yes it does have a stand that came with it.
Im sorry that im kind of floating between "selling / not selling" if I do sell it, you can have it.
That's alright mate, was just a tentative enquiry. Just drop us a mail whenever you get that new TV
