Help with a Sony DVP-NS305
Question:

Sony DVP-NS305
In the manual where it is explaining ( or rambling ) through the connection options. It shows a simple L-R line out connection to an external amp ( Basic HiFi amp with no Dolby facility ) it then goes on to say that if you are using this setup, then set the Downmix to Dolby Surround.
Later on in the book under the Audio Options menu it contradicts itself by saying :
Dolby Surround : Select this when the audio component.....conforms to Dolby Surround (Pro-Logic)
Normal : Select this when the audio component....does not conform to Dolby Surround (Pro-Logic)
Errr......Do i or dont i ??? that's the question ! My amp I use does not conform to Dolby so therefore I should select normal, but I have the same setup in there connection options which says I should select Dolby Surround. ?????
Other then that !
RGB..........S Video or Video, what is the best quality to select on the DVD menu ??
and !
Can you ( and if so , how ! ) store an image to be used as the background picture ?
and !!! ( last one , I promise )
Region crack ect for this DVD player ?
cheers
