Question:
I've got a 24" samsung widescreen, and i must admit the only reason i got it was because it was the cheapest widescreen i could get. I couldn't afford much more, and 28" was too big.
It's a nice little tv, but i've noticed a problem with streaking on my dvds and gamecube (and on normal tv too, obviously). It's especially noticeable when it's a dark scene and there's a small bit of brightness. I.e a candle in a dark room. The light from the candle will 'streak' along the screen horizontally. It's not THAT bright, but it's certainly noticeable.
I guess this is something i just have to accept and put up with, right? Or is there any way i can configure my tv's settings for the minimum amount of streakiness?

I think all TV's do it to an extent.
Messing around with brightness and contrast will probably help.
If you have a Sharpness control, try turning it off!
