Question:
The more I look at the Pioneer VSA AX10 - the more i'm tempted. The majority of reviews come out in favour of this beast - obviously a good sign! Does anybody here have this, or the newer ax10i model, if so - what do you think of it now?
The original RRP was 2700 ukp - i've managed to find it for about 1900 ukp from www.mailuk.com ... my questions is, does anybody have any suggestions of other places to try and obtain this amplifier from at a cheaper deal?

Considering that this was replaced last summer by the VSAAX10i, you would probably fine one a lot cheaper S/H. AX10s were never in great supply, so I find it hard that this would be anything other then an ex demo unit;) Don`t let that put you off though...
Consider the baby AX10i, the VSXD2011, which is very similar to the old AX10 for spec and is still UK tuned. You`ll have problems finding one though, and avoid cheaper euro imports as those are not UK tuned by Air studios....
I took a look at the AX10i - the only improvment was the iLink firewire add on. If it isn't much more i'd go for that ( seen it available for 2400 ukp ) - however I'm (not currently) bothered abut the iLink ability so thought i might be able to pick up the older model cheaper.
not sure if i want a s/h one though...
