Question:
only had my warfedale evo's for a few weeks and ive decided we just dont have the room for rears, so i was wondering how well Kef eggs (only 2 to be used as rears) perform with a denon 2802, is the 2802 not good enough, so go for cheaper speakers? or better speakers because the eggs are pants? etc. seven oks are doing them for £90 each :D so theyr nice and cheap.
How about Kef Q8s? not as stylish as Eggs but better sounding & wall mountable - £200 list but you should be able to haggle 10% off of that. link (http://www.kef.com/products/qseries/qseries8s.html)
BTW individual Kef eggs are not advertised by 7oaks so it's down to the individual branch what they will charge you (7oaks are franchises) - £100 is what they quoted be, but I negotiated 10% off - hence the £90
2802 is more than capable of driving the eggs well.
