Ok, I just bought one of these bad boy DVD Writers:
Pioneer DVR-104 DVD-RW
I just need to find out if the following two players will play DVD's burnt using the drive above:
JVC HR-XV1EK
LG 4710

People seem to be reporting that the LG will play DVD-R/RW. Don't seen any info on the JVC though.

Its not the drive its the media. You'll find with the Pioneer that paying a little bit more than the bottom end price will get you media that is far more compatible. The right media on that drive will work on anything. I've heard good things about traxdata and the new samsung media. Check out;
