Just wondering if a PS2 purchased from Hong Kong is useable over in the UK - I'm not sure if its PAL format over there or something else (secam?)
A friend's over there now and doesn't know whether to buy a cheap one or not
The TV standard in HK is PAL, but the official PS2 is NTSC! I bought one while I was over there.
So it'll work over here if you've got an NTSC compatable tv?
Yep, but it WONT play UK pal games.
Not unless you get a 'special' one as I did which plays anything. These are about the same price as normal ones so I advise you get one of those!
