Question:
I am about to take the plunge into "home cimema" and have decided to buy an all in one system. The Pioneer DCS-303 is the one I have more or less decided on as its within my budget and has received some good reviews (it also has the major advantage of 'looking good without big, ugly speakers' according to the wife). The one minus point I have is that it has no scart socket. As someone who currently has all his units (VCR,DVD,SKY,TV - Toshiba 32WD98B) connected by scart leads what will be the best solution to connect up this player? Does having no scart socket affect the quality of picture in any way?
Sorry for the basic questions.
just get a svid to scart cable and you will be happy , ive had the 303 for a few months now and its a great system .
you will not find any difference in picture quality with the 303 svid .
This kit is fantasic, the picture and sound are brilliant. I use a svideo lead from the Pioneer into my JVC TV, no need to go to the expense of buying a Svideo to Scart lead.
