Question:
I got this combi for my bedroom and it is excellent but I haven't been able to play my R1 disks. :(
I've been looking for a hack since January to no avail. I realise that this set was only released in January but someone must have a hack for it by now.
Please help as I'm getting desperate. :brickwall
If anyone can help I will be eternally grateful. :D

Sorry about the double post. Dont know how that happened.

PLEASE!! Someone must know something. :brickwall
The strange thing is I've managed to get a "hidden configuration menu" on screen twice now whilst trying various button combinations on the remote. This menu lists DVD region (currently set to 2), system (currently PAL) and some other setting (currently set to Europe). Once on this menu I have not been able to change the settings, only scroll up and down through them.
Based on this I'm pretty confident the region can be changed and I've never known a Philips DVD player that couldn't be made multiregion. I will not give up. :D
