Are there any around?
Sony use to have one (not the Picot), similar size to a car stereo.
Needed for bedroom so doesn't have to be top quality, needs to have optical or coxial out, mp3 would be nice.

I remember the bookshelf Sony you mention. I believe JVC do a similar style one now. Failing that, you could always consider a portable DVD. I went that route and got a Panny LA95 from UGH and personally I think it was worth every penny of the small fortune I paid for it. (thankyou oh 6 month interest free credit card deals! :) )
Just found the sony DVPF25 but costs more than what I wanna spend :(
Spotted in Dixons when I was in at lunch, never heard of the name but it was £70 which I think would fit the bill, it did have MP3 that much I do remember

I have the sony F11 that i would be intrested in selling, it cost over £400 new i have had it made multiregion(£90) would be looking for about £230.If you are intrested let me know.
