Question:
I have a RCA DVD player and I am recording my DVD movies on to DVD-Rs for general use and keeping the original DVD in hiding as to keep it out of danger. :) I am not able to find a suitable format that my DVD player will read. It just says "LOADING" on the player and never actually playing it. What are some formats that I could try to accomplish this? Or am I just out of luck and need to get a new player because t will never read DVD-Rs?
ANY SUGGESTIONS???????
Thanks
Heath

I have just had a Look on VCDHelp site --and their are a Lot of different models from RCA
The bad news for you is that a lot of the models are listed as not playing DVD-R or DVD+R discs so it Looks like your player is amogst those that wont
however DVD Players are really cheap these days and most of the newer brands will play most formats and discs types
a lot of people on this forum reccomend the Pioneer 454
I have never seen or used that model, but as a rule Pioneer/Toshiba are amongst the best
also dont forget to buy a region 1 player (multiregion)
