ah, wasn't it the top model back then? £400 or something? I suppose £100-150 would be my estimate since DVD players have moved on quite a bit.

Nope the 7700 was Sony's top model back then at about £800.



Very well respected machines these. Shame what the used market does to 'em though. Checked eBay ?
