Ive just got this great telly, but when I put it into 'Auto Wide' setting, it doesnt appear to ever change when I watch programs with huge borders etc?
Any idea's
Are you talking switching when watching a dvd or tv?
Wont the tv only auto switch when it detects a signal via the scart cable?
Auto wide senses borders,and zooms to the correct proportions.Auto switching is for anamorphic broadcasts which sends a signal down the scart,and the tv stretches horizontally.Have a read of the manual,as it's easy to miss something(no patronising intended).

Im talking about on the TV, not DVD, on my mates panny, it keeps changing around when different shows, or films are on, from wide to zoom etc etc.
Mine doesnt appear to do this, it keeps the borders and doesnt bother zooming (on auto mode)
