Question:
I've a Tosh 32ZD09 which i've had for about 6 months or so. Annoyingly while it on its starting making a sound like a crack every so often. Its similar to the sound made when press on the casing on top of the set but this could be co-incidental.
I had a similar problem with my old 25" Hitachi and was one of the reasons why it got replaced. Any ideas what this is or what could be causing it?

i get the same every now and again with my tosh32zd98b. i wouldn't worry too much
Think every TV I've ever owned has done this, so nowt to worry about.
Fair dos, glad I'm not only one, whats causing it, heat, dust??
Heat...cracking sound due to the expansion and contraction of casing I would imagine.
Pretty much as I expected, ah well, drives Mrs H up the wall, perhaps I can persuade her to upgrade to plasma ;)
