Advice needed
Question:

I've got all my home cinema seperates/speakers/stands/rack together and will be finally putting it all together this weekend hopefully:nuts:
What I am bothered about is that my TV is about 5 meters away from where all the av equipment is...There is no other place where ican set this up so there will be a gap of 5 meters.
I have a scart lead which will connecvt to the dvd and go straight to the tv. My issue is that will i be loosing some picture quality as the scart lead is 5 meteres? I guess i will not really know if the scart lead is long enough untill i put everything together. If i needed to get a bigger scrat lead say 10 meters or so...will this effect the pict quality too?
Is there any other way that i can send the picture to the tv from the dvd. Maybe a svideo from the dvd straight to the svideo of the tv? Will that wrk better?
What are your thoughts....

Move the DVD to the TV and use a 5m optical cable to link to the amp?

Davejp - that would be imposs. Its just the way the room is layed out, so i had to opt for a rack.
