Question:
I went into a hight street electrical store on Saturday and got looking at the Home Cinema Systems. Damn! I want one of these now. In reality, I may have to wait till I get my own place now but it doesent stop me looking or asking questions...right?
I was wondering? Do you guys or any of you have full blown Cinema Systems...like this one?

or do you try your best with a Soundblaster 5.1 soundcard? Are the differences between the two..for instance, something designed to rumble your living room and one which is the poor mans system.
Are systems like the "digit theater" one really "poor" at alll? or are they bloody excellent excellent?
Has anyone watched a film on a budget home cinema system (like everything in one for 100 pounds kinda thing) and then watched one on a system costing about 300 pounds for just the amplifier and the speakers..is the difference like night and day???
What is the recommend watt outage? discuss, discuss, discuss!

Got this AV receiver which i got for £350 second hand.

and this DVD player, which was a present from the missus. a fantastic dvd player but on a £ for £ basis its no-where near as good as a pioneer 656a which is prolly the best value player on the market at the moment.

So i got a very good system for very little money :p also got a nice 32" Sony Wega W/S which is going to be booted out in favour of a Plasma as soon as i find a job :D
