Question:
When i put a film in, it comes up as enhanced, how do i get the amp, to show up DD5.1 etc.... Rather than enhanced!

It depends what Yamaha you have.
On my old 396 I had to cycle through the DSP settings until i got to "Normal".
On my 630, I usually have to press the "Amp" button then the Dolby/DTS button until it says "normal"
I want it to display "Dolby Digital 5.1 EX" , so i can see clearly, cos sometimes I have it in sky mode, and sometimes i can't tell, until there is gun fire or something, then i know straight away its not on.

Well while you are playing from a 5.1 source, you will need to cycle through the ex/es settings until it says matrix6.1 then you can turn the enhanced mode on/off by pressing the dolby/dts button. You will need to do this every time you turn the amp on as it wont remember the settings.
