Question:
I currently have floorstanding KEFs and and Arcam Alpha 9 amp. I am looking to upgrade this system to DTS home cinema sound. I would appreciate any advice on a suitable decoder which would also power the rear and centre speakers. Active sub also.
All help appreciated.

i have a dts decoder for sale if you are interested it is the millenium 246 and it is in perfect condition:thumbs:
what sort of budget are you looking at? Its probably best to go integrated and maybe use the Arcam just for music or as a power amp (or sell and buy an Arcam Power amp for the surround system).
Arcam actually make their own DD/DTS amps which are pretty nice but expensive. The Pioneer 2011 is highly rated as a 6.1 Amp and I have an 811s which is the predecessor to the 1011/2011
Cheers appreciate the input. Dont plan spending more than £800 on the new amp, and would like to retain the the existing amp if at all possible
does your amp have a 5.1 input?

No the Alpha 9 is a normal stereo amp IIRC. Can it take the DAVE module though (or is that the Alpha 10 only)?
All help appreciated.
