Question:
Having some trouble with my Marantz 4100 OSE DVD Player.
Firstly on SVCD's I am getting jumping sound. Every so often the sound just drops out for a moment and the comes back. This can happen just once...or a load of times in a short period. Anyone else get this?
Secondly, it seems on some NTSC discs the picture is squished slightly and moved toward the top of the screen. Yesterday I had this of "Volcano High"...but then stopping the disc and playing again seemed to fix it...
Oh...and there is one more thing...I don't seem to be able to fast forward on VCD's and SVCD's. Sometimes the drive makes a screwy sound. But mainly the disc just stops altogether.
Any help appreciated...

Don't have any of the problems mentioned on my 4100OSE, but it does suffer from poor lip sync on SVCD's.
