Question:
I have saved up a bit of cash (£400)and in a few weeks I want to get a 5.1 system I was looking at the Pioneer HC51 - Pack comprising VSX-C100, SV40S, & DV454 DVD player for £449 on homecinemaheavan.com features below. Is this system any good? could I get better for my money? I already have a DVD player LG2410.

I have the amp- It seems ok.
The player seems to be very highly thought of round here.
Don't know what the speakers are like though.
i have the very same piece of kit and it rocks, drop justin (HCH) a mail and you can get it for £399!!!
the speakers are the most impressive feature in my eyes, nice and heavy and good solid sound. if you have jurassic park it is a good tester when the t rex starts roarin:clap:
would also get some THOR scart cables as these made quite a diff to the pic quality when used!!!

ALSO Ikea are doing some speaker stands for £20 which compliment the system well!!
