Question:
I have a fairly powerful, yet beautifully compact Paradigm PDR-8 at the moment, and to appease 'her indoors' I'm thinking of hiding it in a floor unit . Will this still work? It will have a 3/4" door closed over it (but not tightly-you know these IKEA units)!!
33 viewings and not a single opinion? Or is it just too daft to contemplate??!!:brickwall
Stick a (heavy) vase on it - that will keep her happy - make sure it is heavy as more than once mine has lost its 'decoration' during a film!!
I have my PDR10 in an Ikea futon stool. The stool is just the perfect size for it. With a casual glance, no one knows I have a sub there. Sounds good as well.
I think you're likely to get a lot of resonance if you put it in another box/unit. You might also encounter problems with overheating.
It's quite obvious - put "her indoors" in the unit instead. Make sure the door closes tightly though to ensure no annoying whining noise can escape
LMAO Beddie:lol:
