Question:
I have had a 32in JVC flat screen TV for about 18 months now. Recently I have seen curved banding on both edges of the screen.
This only really shows up when the background is dark or there is a fast moving scene, it is not that noticable but once you see it really starts to bug me. What is strange is I only see it intermittently.
Has anyone else had any such probles or has any suggestions.

Looks like the over scanning is slightly short. With your remote try the following (I have a 28" JVC and it works) press mute and zoom at the same time, this should then bring up the service menu. If you press 4 (this works a bit like a monitor set up so use your common sense, write down all the settings before you start messing. ;) Stick a 16:9 DVD in (like Toy Story 2 or Monsters Inc. pause it, then set it to what you can see on the screen so the banding dissapears.

Hi my 32 in Jvc has is slightly wavey down the right hand side of the screen like the black at the edge of the screen is bumpy and is moving down the way. It doesnt bother me much i dont notice it a lot. I mention it to my brother and he said it was something to do with the telext signal i think it is only seen on certain zoom modes of the screen.
