Question:
Recently I got a Philips PW6006 and the position I have my tv in now (the same one as my old set) means im getting a lot of reflection when anything black is on the tv.
I asked around before I purchased this set and was told that under normal light it was fine.
So does anyone else who has this set have the same problem or do I have the tv in a bad viewing position ?
If so where would you suggest to have a tv placed ?
I've got the 32" version of these and it can be a problem. I have it in front of the window so daylight is OK, although I shut the curtains in bright sunlight.
Electric lights behind or to the side are fine but those on the opposite wall (i.e. either side of where I sit) tend to reflect so I just switch them off.
The problem is no worse than with my previous telly though. I suppose it would have been better with a truly flat screen but that would have been several £100s more than I paid for my bargain Philips.
