Question:
At the title suggest im intrested in buying the Cambridge audio A5 ampilfier from richer sounds tomorrow morning.
This one to be more precise http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=205818
I was just wondering if theres anyone who knows any pros and cons about the amp.
Or if i should pirchase a diffrent amp at a smililar price.
By the way my dad is buying this and doesn't like getting "big" stuff like this of the net and will only buy an amp from a shop. :noid:
ANyone got any usefull info then please replay

The amp and the CD player were quite good - while they lasted.
I haven't used that model, but i can say that i'm not impressed with the reliability of Cambridge Audio's kit. My CD player broke after a year, my A1MKIII broke after 1 month, it was replaced and it's broken again now, about 12 months later. I get a nasty rustling from the speakers like somethings inside eating crisps :suspect: (and yes i have checked the speakers - it is the amp at fault). I should replace it really but i'm skint.
