Question:
My pal just bought himself a DVD player from Richer which although less than £200 has DVD-A (Logic unit I believe)
His next purchase is in Amp & Speaker Setup but to utilise DVD-A he will need one with with 5.1 outputs - so does anone know of any that are so equipped or will he have to go for a separate amp & speakers to achieve this ?

Im sure a Serial AV Upgrader would know it all AV amps come with atleast 5.1 outputs and it doesnt matter whether he buys a package or seperates. but seperates are 'usually' better.
Ebay has a nice sony 940 on at the moment ;)

Thats a nice bit of kit, i prefer your Pioneer though :thumbs: my brother is looking for an AMP for his 'partner':lol: i think thats probably more than he wants to pay though. a great bit of kit for the first poster though :thumbs:

wonderpants - cant get my head round your reply ?- maybe I didnt explain myself ... my mates DVD player is DVD-A capable but to get DVD-A you need to connect 6xphono leads from your DVD player to your amp & therefore the amp needs 5.1 inputs ... what I am asking is do "all in one" amp speaker systems like Sony Home Theatre Kits have such inputs or will you only get these on a separate AV amp ?
