Question:
looking for a 32 inch with surround sound and or 5.1dts
i am thinking about the philips 6526 with fm speakers
can anyone give any recommendations on this sort of setup
bear in mind im a poor student and got about £1000 to spend on tv , dvd ( multiregion) and speakers

My Panasonic PL4 (32") arrives on Friday so I might be able to tell you better then :)
I paid £700 for it from Comet if that's any help. I read loads of reviews and it seemed like a pretty good deal to me
As Philz has already said, Panasonic 32PL4 (Dolby Pro-Logic) is a great buy at under £700 especially seen as the 32PL1 (Nicam) currently costs around £100 more!
Also worth considering is the Thomson 32WF401G (£700), whilst only Nicam Stereo sound, it does offer 100Hz flicker-free picture.

Mine is being delivered tomorrow...so I will let you know how it is...
My suggestion for DVD player would be the Pioneer Dv454 as it plays almost any kind of disc from MP3 to VCD to CD-R etc

My TV has arrived and the picture and sound is superb!
Took no more than a few minutes for it to tune in all the channels etc.
I would definitely recommend this TV! (Panasonic 32PL1)
