Question:
Seen this (http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/commerce/command/ExecMacro/ols_prod_detl.d2w/report?prrfnbr=5340370&prmenbr=6970&type=big&thisMode=ols&cgrfnbr=379458) scart switching box.
I have a few questions concerning this. I have a DVD Player, Gamecube and Sky Digibox all which output RGB. Does this box output RGB?
Also whats the quality like is there any loss in picture quality or sound quality?
Bought it yesterday, all RGB enabled (you can press a button to switch from RGB to non RGB if you like!) and seems pretty good for the money. Also has a couple of switches so you can record from one input to another whilst watching another if you see what i mean!
Seems good, is there much loss in picture quality form what you can see?
Well, at the moment only got a naff scart lead connecting scart box to tv (until I get yet another lead!) but still seems pretty good to me.
And theres always the 16 day back guarantee if you don't like it!
Cheers, will get down the shops tomorrow as it seems i have no chance today.
I have one of these and it is very good. I have not noticed a reduction in picture or sound quality. :)
On the instructions i got with the box it states that input A can only be used for vcr is this the case. The reason i bought it was so i could plug my dvd player, sky and gamecube in!
Plug anything into it, its just there as its the socket to put the video in if you do want to record one thing and watch/play another using the second two buttons from the left of the box.
Yup, I have on of these two. I haven't noticed any degradation in quality on the tv at all. Well worth what it costs
I have Freeview in A (output as RGB), DVD in B (output as RGB) and ntl digital in C (output as RGB) and all are great quality, no loss of quality at all.
Well worth the dosh :)

Nero,
This is so "B" can feed "A" or "C" can feed "A", if you wanted to back-up one of your DVD's or record Satellite / Cable / Freeview. If recording is not important to you then you can put the Gamecube in "A". My son has DVD, Freeview and a PS1 plugged in, all working as RGB.
I have found that if "B"-"A" or "C"-"A" are pushed down the picture qulity is effected. Press them both at the same time to make them both go up to get the best picture quality.
Cheers plugged Sky in A, DVD in B and Gamecube in C seems fine. Thanks all for your help!!
